Years 7, 8 & 9 - Subject Selection and JET Planning
As we move into Term 4, it’s time for students in Years 7, 8 and 9 to begin planning their subjects for 2026. This process helps students explore their interests, build on their strengths, and make informed choices for the next stage of their learning.

1. LA Class Presentations
Tuesday 7 October (Period 3, O Block)
Heads of Department will present subject options in this order:

HPE (including Food and Fibre) – Year 7 & 8 students may leave after this point

2. Subject Selection Evening
Tuesday 14 October
4:30 – 5:30 pm

Year 7 & 8 – Auditorium

Year 9 – Library
Families are strongly encouraged to attend this session to support students in making the best choices for their future.
3. Resources
The Junior Handbook and OneSchool subject selection forms will be available from Tuesday 14 October (Subject Selection Evening).
4. Deadline
All subject selections must be entered into OneSchool by the end of Week 3, Term 4.
Year 9 – Junior Education and Training Plan (JET Plan)
In addition to subject selection, all Year 9 students will complete their Junior Education and Training (JET) Plan in Term 4. The JET Plan is an important step in preparing for the senior phase of learning, helping students set clear goals and pathways for Years 10–12 and beyond.
