Ranyu Masuda (Japan) – Years 11 & 12 (2019–2021)
We were delighted to welcome back one of our international alumni, Ranyu Masuda, who studied with us at Yeronga during Years 11 and 12. Ranyu graduated in 2021 and has since gone on to pursue her passion for Natural Medicine.
After returning home to Japan, Ranyu took her studies abroad once again, this time to Denmark, where she spent two years completing further qualifications in the field. Her interest in natural medicine began from a very personal place — a desire to better understand health and wellbeing while managing her own health concerns.
Ranyu is now back in Australia for the next two years to continue her studies, with the goal of building a career that allows her to help others through holistic approaches to health. During her recent visit to Yeronga, she was thrilled to reconnect with her teachers and her former homestay mother, Enija Neskovic, who remains an important part of her Australian journey.
She shared with us that she holds fond memories of her time at Yeronga, including the friendships she formed, the support she received from her teachers, and the cultural experiences that shaped her. Ranyu expressed her gratitude for the opportunities she had while studying here and is excited about the future that lies ahead.
We are proud of Ranyu’s achievements and look forward to following her journey as she continues to combine her international experiences with her dedication to natural health.
