Apprentice program overview

Over the course of our four-year program, our Transmission Linesperson apprentices will learn from industry experts and play a hands-on role in delivering critical state-wide transmission services to 5 million Queensland customers; connecting Queenslanders to a world-class energy future.
In 2026, Powerlink are looking to offer the Transmission Linesperson Apprenticeship stream, based in Brisbane.
