Arts News
Welcome to an exciting 2025 in the Arts at Yeronga!
There has been some changes, both big and small, in the Arts…but with everything that has changed, many things will remain. First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Luke Lilly and I am the new Head of Department for the Arts at Yeronga. I am extremely excited to continue the amazing work that my predecessors have pioneered. Together with my amazing team, we will continue to bring the very best in Arts education to your students, and grow our community with pathways and opportunities that excite, nurture and educate our budding artists!

Arts Academy
Week 2 saw the start of our Arts Academy for 2025. Years 7 and 8 are exploring each Arts strand through individual taster sessions, preparing them for their specialisations for Semester 1. Meanwhile the Year 9s are already beginning to unpack this Semester’s theme. We’re not yet ready to reveal what they’re working on…but all are excited to get started!
